Please enclose a note designating the fund, or call the office and leave a message and we'll contact you as soon as possible. Below are some short descriptions of our Special Funds.

A. Braunstein Emergency and Mitzvah Corps Fund
Supports the Kol Shalom Mitzvah Corps to help families in need and to help support Super Supper events

​

A. Braunstein Religious School Scholarship Fund
Supports and funds Kol Shalom Religious School related scholarships

​

Building Fund
Provides funds for repairs and capital improvements to the buildings and facility infrastructure of Kol Shalom

​

Cemetery Fund
Provides funds for buying additional cemetery land and to help Kol Shalom families for whom plot purchase would be a hardship

​

Chevra Kadisha Fund
Supports the responsibilities and activities of the Kol Shalom Chevra Kadisha

​

Leadership Development Fund
Provides funding to encourage members of the Kol Shalom community to further their leadership and/or teaching skills to benefit the congregation

​

Prayer Book Fund
Funds the purchase of new prayer books for Kol Shalom

​

Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund
Provides funds for worthy causes, organizations or needy individuals at the discretion of the Rabbi

​

Religious School Fund
Provides discretionary funds for use by the Kol Shalom Religious School

​

Sammy Turkheimer Youth Fund
Provides scholarships for Kol Shalom youth to attend Jewish overnight camp, NFTY events, Israel programs, and other activities that help our youth

​

Special Rabbinic Expense Fund
Provides subsidization funding for additional rabbinic contractual expenses
