Texas-Style BBQ: May 18,
1:30 pm
Thanks to everyone who joined us for a new CKS tradition! We enjoyed an authentic Texas-Style BBQ in our own garden! The Re’ach Nichoach (‘Soothing Aroma’) of sizzling kosher brisket, chicken, and salmon in luscious, piquant sauces and rubs created our own ‘Garden of Eatin’.
CKS Board President Frank Commanday hosted this affair, and CKS Board Member Jake Miller, formerly of Texas, shared his knowledge and skills earned as an official Barbecue Judge in that great state.
