About the event
We invite you and interested guests to a gathering of about 30 members of our local Jewish community, regardless of any affiliation with this congregation, to participate in a structured, enlightening exploration of the ways we experience, and aspire to experience our Jewish identity in association with the Jewish community beyond the confines of our homes.
We are not Jewish alone. How we engage the wider Jewish community in pursuing social, intellectual, and spiritual fulfillment as Jews is unique to everyone. As a center of Jewish life in this community, Congregation Kol Shalom can better serve our mission by identifying the ways we connect with one another, beyond “going to services."
Facilitated by Peter Stiepleman, our Community Engagement Forum will give us an excellent opportunity to explore and discover the myriad ways in which we live our Jewish lives as a community. This will not be a passive experience! It will be a highly interactive way for all participants to share experiences and collective wisdom in a structured, community-oriented forum.
Naturally, food is involved: The luncheon will begin at noon.
Thank you for your participation!
