Congregation Kol Shalom offers Hebrew and Jewish education for children up to age 18. We offer classes at different levels, roughly determined by the age of the child, leading up through bar/bat mitzvah and to Hebrew High.

Kita Gan is our youngest class, with children preschool through age 5 (kindergarteners). The youngest children enjoy stories, crafts, snack time, and holiday observances, taught within a Jewish context. Children in 1st through 5th grades study with children of the same age, following the Chai curriculum from the URJ. Classes are held on Saturdays at 9:30 am, and run concurrently with our services on those days.Children in 3rd grade and above also attend midweek Hebrew classes on Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:45 pm.
